Managing Members of a Distribution List

Summary:  This document is designed to show how to add and remove members from a distribution list.

 

Note:  You must be the list owner to perform this action. 

Open Outlook and create a new email.

  1. In the TO: field either type the name of the group you want to edit or search for it in the address list.
  2. Once the group names shows up in the TO: line, right click on the name and select Open Outlook Properties
  3. When the properties window opens, Select modify Members on the right. 
  4. Click either Add or Remove depending on what you want to accomplish
  5. Search or scroll until you find the person you are looking for.
  6. Double click on their name and select OK.
  7. That’s it.
