Calendars and Availability

There are two very easy ways to check someone’s availability and / or invite them to a meeting when they are free.

Just Looking at The Calendar

  1. Go to Calendar in Outlook.
  2. Right-click My Calendars à Choose Add Calendar à Click From Address Book.
  3. Choose the name from the address book. Click ok. You’ll see their schedule next to yours.
  4. But there’s an even better way if you’re looking to also book an appointment. Keep reading.

Booking Other People’s Time

  1. Open a time slot in your calendar like you’re going to set up a meeting.
  2. Click the little head icon across the top bar to invite people to the meeting.
  3. Add all your people to the invite. Click the Scheduling Assistant tab.
  4. You can see everyone’s time and see open spots using the All Attendees bar at the top of the display.
