Summary: This document will guide you through view and exporting video on the Genetec web client

Searching Video

  1. Navigate to HTTPS://Genetec.OregonHumane.org/SecurityCenter
  2. Log in using your OHS network login
  3. Click Monitoring to open the camera viewing screen
  4. If you wish to view more or less than the default four cameras, you can click Tile pattern to change the view
  5. To view a camera, click Area view, navigate down to the location of the camera, and double-click on it to add it to the window

 

Looking at the picture above:

  1. This shows the name of the camera
  2. This X will close the camera
  3. The pause button will stop the camera at the current time
  4. Use this button to go to a specific time in the camera’s recording history. You select a date from the left window, then a time from the right window. If it’s black, there is no video. If there’s white, there is video
  5. You can use this bar that runs the bottom of the camera window to click and go to a specific time
  6. This down arrow will export video

Exporting Video

 

  1. Clicking the Download video buttons takes you to this screen
  1. Start time and End time let you set the duration of the video to export. Make sure you change the format to MP4.
  2. Once you set the parameters, click Prepare download and then Download and your video will be downloaded as a zip file
